Linear Ribs were chosen by CZWG to clad the inner and outer walls of this feature helical staircase to the iconic central library of Southwark Council at Canada Water, Surrey Quays. Acting as an aesthetic and acoustic treatment, the versatility of the product made a complex design easier to install.
Over 2,000 (600m2) 28mm deep by 38mm wide ribs in natural Oak veneer were installed to the curved central staircase at the library. Ribs were installed independently using a supplied template and the wall clip system without a base grid to achieve the curve.
