197m2 of FSC® Mix certified solid Oak ribs in custom sizes were installed to the walls of lecture theatres at the Bayes Institute at Edinburgh University.
Ribs at 21mm high x 65mm wide and 65mm high x 21mm wide were used at varying pitches for an irregular finish; the wider ribs were installed with a 10mm air gap and the 21mm pieces had an average gap of 50mm across the clusters. This was achieved with the standard linear rib wall installation clip system which allows each rib to be installed independently and at any pitch.
Gustafs Panel System was also installed to this project including the chalk board panels in the slideshow, watch this space for more on the Gustafs elements at the Bayes Institute.
